About

On of my most proud career accomplishments is being the PRODUCER and DIRECTOR of the New York Short Film Festival. I produced the festival for 3 successful years, 1 week long each November at the Cinema Village theater in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. NYSFF is known for showcasing more than 300 short films, Q&As with filmmakers, film-specific lectures and networking parties.

My responsibilities included:
-Conceptualize brand and creative design: hire and supervise graphic designer(s), manage marketing budget, implement marketing campaign across many platforms and at venue
-Social Medial campaign: producing, controlling, and monitoring all marketing deliverables on weekly basis via Instagram and Facebook media manager
-Social Media manager: Twitter, Facebook, IG
-Hiring and Managing staff and volunteers
-Managing and Hosting all events during the festival: 3 programs a night for 7 nights

Additional film festivals include the inaugural Big Freakin’ Deal Student Film Festival, which was created by myself and fellow film-students while completing our degrees at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Read our write-up for BFD fest 2009 by the Daily Camera!

As a college student studying film production, I volunteered for a few local film festivals, including Vail Film Festival and Boulder International Film Festival.
